TrustNordisk closes multiple territories, including Germany and Japan, for the drama from director Kristian Levring , which IFC picked up for North America.

Buyers are hot for Danish Western The Salvation, one of the surprise hits of this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The feature, from director Kristian Levring and starring Mads Mikkelsen and Eva Green, has been picked up by Concorde for Germany and Austria, Tohokushinsha for Japanese release, Cinema Prestige for Russia and Cinema Republic for Korea.

IFC snapped up North American rights to The Salvation last week.

The film premiered as a Midnight Screening in Cannes. Sales group TrustNordisk has also closed deals for France, Benelux, Australia/New Zealand, Greece and Estonia.
